Rychen joined the BHURD team in January of 2018. He was born and raised in Salem, Oregon and graduated from BYU in 2005 with a degree in Psychology.
He spent 13 years working in the financial services industry helping clients construct and understand investment portfolios suitable to their specific needs.
Rychen has a particular interest in the principles of behavioral finance. He loves helping clients identify and avoid potential internal biases and adverse emotions in order to make sound, rational decisions they will be happy with into the future.
Rychen and his wife, Annalise, were married in 2004 and have four children. They enjoy being involved in their local home-school community and learning along side their children. He is an avid long-distance runner, and has completed nearly two dozen marathons and six 50-mile ultra marathons since he began running in 2009. He can often be found running through his local neighborhoods in the early morning hours.
